General News
Chocolates anyone?
Yummy! Thanks Layth, much appreciated you carrying these all the way back from Belgium.
Figure Skating News
Plans change for inspiring reasons. Baldi would like to wish everyone involved in Guildford Figure Skating Rink Xmas Show, the very best of luck, I know you will all be brilliant, however, this meant a change of day for lessons. As they say, variety is the spice of life! Arriving at
Guildford Railway Station just after 7am, on a frosty Winter morning, I was greeted with another sign
Xmas is looming which brought a smile to my face despite the terribly cold and wet weather. Baldis message to everyone at Guildford Station is, thank you for inspiring me in 2023. Happy Xmas to you all too.
Walking through
Wild Wood, Stoke Park, Guildford, I chanced upon this adorable
Happy Squirrel who seemed to know it is almost Xmas due to the smile on her or his face. Passing
Guildford College, I was surprised at the lack of Humans and Dogs alike, probably due to our interesting weather, do you not think?
After enjoying my lessons, chatting with people I do not normally mix with, due to my switch of days, I took a different route back to Guildford Station, this time along
Guildford Canal, which I always find inspiring due to the sheer diversity of
scenery, and range of
Canal activity. Thankfully, I am always able to recognise the point where I exit the Canal thanks to
these wonderfully inspiring older Building of a bygone era signalling Guildford Station approach, leaving me asking, have you visited Guildford, Surrey, England? If not, then I believe you will be inspired by all you see.
Web Site News
Constant additions and enhancements to Baldi, AKA Amonn AL-Mahrouq's Home on The Web was the order of the week in the form of adding relevant inspiring images to make my site more approachable, more interesting and easier to read. Do keep checking back for more inspiration!
Tutorials and Book News
Progressing nicely, however, stopped for a few days due to computer issues resulting in yet another reformat of my hard drive, I feel sure these things are sent to try us, what do you think? This is also the reason I am behind with my Blog, however, aim to catch up before the end of this week. What has Baldi learnt? To not only keep a backup up on an
external SSD, but to also keep all working files in The Cloud, in my case on Dropbox, as this enables me to continue writing, editing and inspiring you with my Blogs from my iPad.
Leaving me to ask, what have you achieved this week to inspire yourself, your family, and others and what have you planned for your coming week? Do message me.

Audio Book News
I throughly enjoyed, The Success Myth written and narrated by Emma Gannon available on Amazon Audible. I found her Audio Book interesting, authentic and certainly an Audio Book I can recommend, however, be prepared for long chapters!
Figure Skating News
I love getting up early for my Figure Skating Sessions and find walking across
Stoke Park, Guildford in Winter with the due crunching under my feet an invigorating and pleasing activity. The feeling of cooler, crisper and fresher air hitting my lungs to me is second to none and, combined with witnessing
our sun rise really does invigorate me for my day ahead.
After enjoying my lessons and practice session, Nadia, a Rink friend approached with a white, very mundane and intriguing bag. Upon closer inspection, I was delighted to find two smaller bags within, containing
delicious dried Mushrooms. Yummy! Thank you Nadia, they will be much enjoyed.
On my return walk to Guildford Station, I again passed through the inspirational Stoke Park, however, this time took a different route, passing
an outdoor exercise area.
On my travels, I also passed Guildford College
Skate Park, where unsurprisingly no one was practicing due to the cooler temperatures no doubt, however, noted from their main buildings seasonal
lighting display, they were already enjoying Xmas Mode. Just as I was approaching Guildford Station, I chanced across another Xmas related sign,
this time being towed to their destination leaving me wondering if you are prepared for Xmas 2023?
Book and Tutorial News
Work on my forthcoming, Tutorials and Book this week have been a little sparse, mainly due to my week being punctuated by wheelbarrow loads full of paperwork, however, never one to waste anything precious, the little time I have had, I have enjoyed learning new skills courtesy of a variety of Udemy Courses, then putting my new found knowledge into practice, with the aim of finding the most convenient delivery method for you.
I am throughly enjoying the process of editing my varied writings and am in the process of combining different pieces of work to make a cohesive whole which will be inspirational, informative, easy to access and navigate. More work to be achieved here for sure, however, I always find a
family walk along our shore line inspiring, as not only does it allow me a break, where I am able to take stock of progress, but also allows me to be inspired by nature.
Web Site News
Progressing and having fun taking images and writing Blogs to inspire you all with. This week sees lots of little enhancements throughout the entirety of my

Also received a fair few messages regarding features on my web site not loading correctly, promptly, or not looking right in some browsers. May I suggest if you are having issues, update to the latest version of your chosen browser and try again. If you still encounter errors after updating, firstly do switch to an alternative browser to test, and then if the error persists, do message me with a trainscript of said error message, thanks!
Piano News
This week sees much
piano progress in terms of brushing up older repertoire for use in forthcoming performances and saw the addition of two new Traditional compositions arranged by Nikki Isles to my Concert Repertoire list. Both well known and I am sure audience pleasers. If you are a Concert Pianist, and Traditional Music is your thing, I can recommend adding both Danny Boy and Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
I appreciate there has been lot of inspiring and varied news this week, leaving me asking
What will you achieve this coming week to inspire yourself, your family and friends? Do message me.

General News
In my last blog I, touched on the inspiring Stoke Park Gardens, Guildford, Surery, United Kingdom. This week, I would like to introduce you to
the other side of Stoke Park,
looking towards Guildford, which I find equally inspiring and well worth visiting, especially if you love walking in
woods, and on
open fields.
For me, the most inspiring time walking in our
beautiful countryside is whilst our sun rises,
leading me to ask, which challenges are you facing this week?
Which have you
conquered,
and,
what are your,
challenges for next week?

Along with catching up with my Rink Family, much was accomplished this week as I am now only one Skill away from having learnt all the required Skills for my Level 2 Skills Test. Bring on more exciting times! Whilst walking back to
Guildford Station through the beautiful
Stoke Park Gardens, I was inspired by this
calm and peaceful waterway reminding me of how much I have accomplished this week, leading me to ask, how much have you accomplished towards your goals?
Piano News
This week, I feel I have made steady progress towards my goals of speeding up pieces for potential concerts and have taken to practicing on my
Keyboard, in case our Universe throws me a curve ball requiring me to perform on Piano in places where no Acoustic Piano exists. All great skills to be learning, me thinks!
General News
Over the weekend a Sunday Lunch was enjoyed by all in
Greens, Wickham, Hampshire, United Kingdom, which I can throughly recommend as the atmosphere was lively, however, not intrusively, the service top class and the food delicious. For us, some of the stand out advantages of choosing Greens was, they:
Always greet their customers by name,
Remember what customers enjoyed during their last visit,
and always,
reply prompty to E-mail bookings.
One evening, on the way to
Algarves Grill, Southsea, where my Cousin and I enjoyed a yummy Portuguese Dinner, we passed a beautiful, cute and friendly
Town Fox who was up early, enjoying rich pickings. He or she approached us, decided we were friendly, greeted us by wagging their tail and went on their way. Nature is so inspiring! Do you not agree?
Living by the Coast, is always going to be challenging, however, I find the awesome power of nature inspiring and this week, after the massive
storms of late was no exception!
Lastly, my family and I were inspired watching the Diwali Festival Celebrations
leading me to ask, what achievements are you
celebrating and what are you planning for your future?

Tutorials News
Lots of useful strides made during the last few days! Enjoyed typing up notes and placing them into their respective resting places. Looking forward to progressing to editing my Medical Book as soon as this round of Tutorial Drafts are completed. I feel sure there will be lots of sorting to be achieved once I begin Medical Book editing, however, know order will soon rule as my sole purpose will be to remove relevant Tutorial materials, separate everything and sort into their new respective homes.
In terms of Third Draft Tutorial progress, I have begun, but not every one is there yet, however, have completed a few more during the last few days, allowing me to feel significant progress has been made towards achieving another of my goals.
Figure Skating News
Thoroughly motivated by my
early start as I always look forward to be inspired by my Figure Skating Session, especially, since I was not able to attend last week due to engineering work on our Train Line. Well it has to happen sometimes, does it not?! Just wish they would choose weekends and stop annoying commuters!
Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with my Rink family, skating amongst some very talented Figure Skaters and of course my lessons. All in all, I feel refreshed and inspired to be back on the Rink.
Piano News
Whilst speeding up my Technical Study, much progress has been made in cutting out incorrect notes, my main aim now is to practice until I reach the speed marked by the composer. I also enjoyed spending time keeping my fingers warm revising older repertoire and being inspired by playing through potential new works for future learning and performances.
Garden News
Whilst showing
new arrivals to their perspective new homes, I made a new friend,
leading me to ask, are you a Spider person? Personally, I love most animals and found this tiny creature, both colourful and inspiring. Just watching them go about their lives, weaving their home, oops, I meant web, I wondered how much more we could all learn from Nature? Long may we all live in harmony alongside all creatures.
Back to our new arrivals, I am looking forward to watching them grow and will post photos for you all to be inspired by their rate of development.
General News
Weather wise, thankfully
lots of sea traffic has returned to much calmer seas, however,
menacing storm clouds were still looming whilst we enjoyed walking along our Seafront.
Sunday brought an enjoyable lunch at
Bombay Bay, located in the heart of Southsea Marina, United Kingdom. Highly recommended if you are partial to Indian Food, service is a little slow as food is cooked to order, however, the atmosphere is great and staff are always pleasant. As they say, the best things in life are worth waiting for, leading me to ask
